DELAND – Florida Hospital DeLand has selected Shayna Garber to serve as Manager of Patient Access.
In her new role, Garber will be responsible for overseeing the hospital’s emergency department registrars, ensuring the registration process is smooth for patients.
Garber comes to Florida Hospital DeLand after working at Halifax Health as a supervisor over nine outpatient areas, including the community clinic, oncology, behavioral services, physical and speech therapy, centralized scheduling, and pre-op.
Garber, a Debary resident, graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration and is currently pursuing a Master of Business-Healthcare Management at Marylhurst University. She is an active member of Junior League of Daytona and Young Professionals Group.
