DELAND, Fla., May 21, 2014 – Florida Hospital DeLand now offers the Multi Radiance Laser technology to treat patients with pain.
This technology is a natural and drug-free solution to pain and is the most advanced, non-invasive treatment method cleared by the FDA.
This Multi Radiance Laser technology incorporates a Super Pulsed laser, red and infrared light, and magnetic field. These three clinically-proven wavelengths of light are used for optimal tissue saturation, enabling energy to be absorbed approximately four to five inches below the skin’s surface.
During treatment, the laser emitter is placed directly upon the skin over the area being treated for approximately 5 minutes to enhance blood circulation and provide temporary pain relief caused by conditions such as arthritis, back aches, joint pain, muscle spasms, sport injuries and sprains.
“Treatments with our Multi Radiance Laser are non-invasive and painless,” said Lita Kapuscinski, Florida Hospital DeLand rehabilitation services director. “Most people do not feel anything, while some have reported that a slight tingling or warming sensation was felt over the area being treated.”
The beneficial effects of the treatment are often felt after only three to five treatments, with some patients reporting immediate pain relief after the first treatment.
