DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., February 17, 2014 – Opal Howard has been named the human resources executive director for the five Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties, as well as the human resources director for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
In this new role, Howard is responsible for developing a vision and strategy, as well as alignment for the human resources departments at the five Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties.
Howard, a DeLand resident, has been with Adventist Health System, Florida Hospital’s parent company, for 23 years and most recently served as human resources director at Florida Hospital DeLand. In 2005, she became certified as a senior professional in human resources.
