Florida Hospital DeLand’s Promotes Patient Experience Manager

DELAND, Fla., January 9, 2014 – Florida Hospital DeLand has promoted Kathleen Moore from patient experience manager to patient experience and patient relations director.

In this new role, Moore coordinates system-wide service excellence and patient relation programs. In addition, she oversees data-driven program collecting, tracking and analyzing service excellence trends for HCAHPS and Value Based Purchasing. She also collaborates with all service lines to ensure the best practices in patient experience.

Moore has been with Florida Hospital since January 2009 and has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of health care settings, including  hospitals, emergency department trauma center, and hospice. 

Moore, an Ormond Beach resident, holds a master’s degree in social work from Florida State University and is a Certified Integrative Health Coach through Duke University.
