Denise Stark Named Florida Hospital DeLand Emergency Department Clinical Manager

Florida Hospital DeLand announced that Denise Stark, RN, has accepted the position of Clinical Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department.

In her new role, Stark is responsible for directing clinical supervision and promoting an effective team environment while supporting the Florida Hospital DeLand mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ. Additionally, she promotes an excellent customer service environment and serves as a proactive liaison for physicians, employees, patients, families and guests. 

Stark has been with Florida Hospital DeLand since 2003 and has been an integral part of the Emergency Department, leading the effort toward Chest Pain Center Accreditation. In March 2011, she became the interim Clinical Performance Coordinator and has actively supported clinical excellence in the Emergency Department in that role.

She became a Certified Lean Facilitator in August to help Florida Hospital DeLand continually find ways to eliminate waste and is already implementing her expertise in process improvement projects.
